"The" church has a long an infamous tradition of intolerance while preaching tolerance ... torture while preaching kindness ... tyranny while preaching freedom ... sexual abuse while preaching abstinence.
Oh and I think it preaches against hypocrisy too.
Religious zealots would be far less frightening if they at least had the integrity to take their own advice.
