What I said I deeply, truly meant. The line between sanity and madness can be no wider than a quark at times. A question arises: which come first, the depression or the chemical changes? It matters nought, save for those whose lives dangle in the abyss, lost between the kind firm shore and the vastness of empty loneliness that is the void where lurks the demons of depression and mania.

I wonder if anyone ever thought to ask if people with half a brain (what one of my book characters would call "ti-dowan") ever get depressed?
