What part of 11 dimensional space_time do you think is based on faith?
The 11 dimension solution is the result of pure mathematic calculations.
Faith would be accepting that it is real because I read a book that said so.
Faith would be accepting that it is real because some self-annointed expert proclaimed it to be the case.
Insanity would be accepting that it is real because I had a vision.
There is no more faith at work here than there is faith involved in speculating on the possibilities that black holes and neutron stars exist. They are just possible solutions to problems in physics.
What would require an act of faith, however, would be believing that you have sufficient integrity to establish your self-proclaimed academic and scientific credientials.
I'll believe in the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny before that. It is not like I asked for your social security number of real name. Just a simple generic statement. And you haven't even the ability to do that.
