Is it an impacted wisdom tooth? Dont bite on that side, and take pain killer.
If its decaying, go buy 'toothache tincture' or almost as good -Clove oil....both to be applied to the tooth with cottonwool/or bud.
Failing all the above, half a mouthful of whiskey
held in side of mouth for 30 seconds (not as easy as you think)
