Phone the dentist. Whine a lot. And tell them you will take the very first available cancellation.

I no longer make dentist or doctor appointments. They seem to just want to schedule you sometime during the following decade.

I just ask for cancellations. Those they seem to have every day or two.

Well that and take some Naprosyn or if you are in Canada, where it is legal, Tylenol with codeine.
