Try sitting quite squarely in front of the picture, a bit closer than your normal focal range, and then stare into and through the picture as if you were looking "through" it at something several inches behind it. Then try to relax and let your eyes go sort of blank. Let the image come to you, because if you move your eyes before you "get" it, you'll lose it. You may have to get closer or farther from the picture; experiment with the distance. It does take some practice at first, but I think most people can do it unless they have some major problems with visual convergence. I have a terrible problem with convergence, and sometimes I have to actually deliberately "cross" my eyes by focusing on an object and bringing it close to my face, then quickly look at the hidden picture. Once you learn how to do it, it's fairly easy. Good Luck!
