I don't believe jail time is the answer for everything. In this case, I just want to see the parents awakened to the fact that their daughter needs a different dietary regimen. Is it really worth it to throw the parents in jail for 5 years, let the child grow up in foster homes, etc., etc.? I'd like that to be a last possible resort.
