I think it's just an interesting article that offers a possible tiny peek into the possible reasons for the existence and behavior of collectives in general - human collectives included. IOW, is it possible that politics (or more appropriately, the willingness to form or join collectives) is in our very genes rather than just a learned mechanism for survival? If we somehow negated every survival advantage of the collective, would the hardwiring of our brain make us feel compelled to create them anyway?
