I won't tell you about the fantastic steak I'm eating, a good inch of mouth-watering juicy T-bone steak, so big it drips over the edges of the platter (yes, i said PLATTER), oozing gently with rich juices and smothered in butter-sauteed wine-marinated mushrooms. Alongside of it I have a perfectly baked potato, soft and mealy, fluffy and delectable, lathered with butter and sour cream, delicately spiced with salt and pepper and gently sprinkled overall with fresh, homegrown chives. There are freshly steamed florets of snowy cauliflower and jade green broccoli, mixed with tiny carrots, on the other side. Just a simple peasant meal, but, so delicious!
