bobba right...phone issue is a major consideration here
you right....article does mention phone issue
phones are also being installed at a precipitous rate
but many are now going directly to isdn, adsl, and wide pipe installations...though they may get a phone line installed at the same time
although availability of these services in rural areas is still pretty limited
thus, phone lines are not an absolute limiting factor
in spring of '98 (about the time this board fired up) i know a fella (know 'im pretty well, in fact) that was among the first half million users, maybe among the first 100,000 users
