the message doesn't change...their are a lot people that don't get it right...don't know how to preach it

i am resonably sure (i wasn't there a hundred years ago or more) that some of the fellas were tellin' it right

2 peter 3.4-6 talks about those that have a "uniformitarian" perspective of things...and says that the world that then was, perished...was deluged and destroyed

the pericope goes on to delineate between the earth that then was and the present one

if they were studying the book, they should have been teaching it

but there are lots of folks that like to talk about what the book says without having actually studied it much :-)
