Re: Gravity Field?????? or Fields (DA Morgan)

I realise this question comes late in the day, but I have not been able to view this forum for some days because I have an inept service provider.
Please tell me where we have observed gravity without mass? I thought gravity existed because of mass, it arose from mass.
(Please excuse me if I ramble - I have drunk much wine to celebrate the return of my internet connection.)
Are we entering quantum physics here, with gravitons and such things making an appearance? If so, can someone recommend an understandable, readable guide to this field, because I stumble every time I try to get to grips with it. And this saddens me immensely - my 14 year old asks so many questions, and it annoys me that I, as his mother and possible role model, still haven't thought of most of the questions he asks. I am still trying to come to terms with that quantum bomb in a box thingy. Doesn't make sense to me. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
Thank you for any replies and for the many hours I have passed as an observer here. What a lovely forum.
