Light has electro-motive properties, thus force. Dark is the absence of light. The question becomes moot, as they point out below -- dark ("lack of light") would be attractive to what?

(I COULD answer this from a spiritual sense, as in "Dark is attractive to the EVIL", but that's not why you asked the question, so let's pretend that I didn't bring that up.)
