my immediate reaction would be to say yes, for as you say it is 'balanced perfectly', therefore any amount of force even 'a puff of breath' would cause an imbalance in that perfection, and 'imbalance' implies unbalanced, so it would fall off.

i would be interested to know what your thoughts are on this, and why you ask.
