Yes the moon does.
To exist in a gravitational field, by definition, is to accelerate.
Check out this web page from Citrus College: Click Here . Find the words "Moon is always falling!"
Remember ... acceleration and speed are two entirely different things. The moon need not go faster and faster ... to be accelerating.
