GREAT FIND!!! Now who was that author of the sci-fi short stories where the glass made light travel slowly? Ah yes, Bob Shaw. http://ebbs.english.vt.edu/exper/kcramer/anth/Days.html Looks like Bob underestimated the impact of the discovery and was wrong on the minor technical details.
