Interesting, but it seems to me that the signals are one way. That is from the nerve in his wrist via a radio transmitter into the computer.
The real acid test will come when they sever his nerve below the implanted wires....and use the computer to transmit his nerve signals back to the severed nerve below the cut, to control his hand, in real time.
I cannot see the point of using a computer unless its needed to study and record the individual nerve outputs. I would have thought a direct wire to wire connections joining damaged nerves via a small chip amplifier would be more promising, and
almost unobtrusive.
