Looks like a clear-cut case of data mining to me. But I wish them luck with getting their research grant. Perhaps they'll find that the aforementioned "environmental factors" are actually the result of the vastly reduced pollution in Britain. Or perhaps they’ll find it’s ALL just a matter of more efficient (read grant driven determination) diagnosis and reporting.
