The problem defined "geosynchronous" as being an orbit that maintained the satellite in the same position over the planet at all times. So the Author of the problems had a semantic problem, which I did not catch. I'm sure the teacher will be sufficiently annoyed when that is pointed out! And it certainly stimulated a lot of thinking and discussion in the classroom, which is always good.
