This would be very nasty, were it not for the fact that depleted uranium is not, in fact, particularly radioactive. It is quite safe to handle, and is no more dangerous to be around than, say.. a lump of steel.>>
It's a relief to know that, but how do they defuse the radioactivity? I thought it lasted millions of years.
