Detached Mind

When people face impending danger where there's a possibility of being hurt or killed, their minds go into temporary shock. In this helpless state, the mind becomes detached and you have no control of what your body is doing. There is no fear or apprehension, only a sense of resolve and acceptance. I've experienced it myself several times, when I was falling and twice during earthquakes, and twice during auto accidents. One thing this proves is that your mind doesn't need conscious control to function
