Perhaps in future computer keyboards will come wiht a row of "emotikeys" which when depreesed would automatically insert such things as smiles, frowns, sober looks, evil grins, etc. It seems there is a great need for these sort of "aids to communication" in the computer world, just as there are many "aids to Navigation" that help airplanes get around. I for one would vote for the inclusion of such emoticons as "vicious snarl" and "Dumb look". I would find those two most helpful.

Just an idea. :-)
