While I favor cloning research, I devoutly hope we'll leave the past alone and not clone famous historical figures simply because we can. However, here's a thought for the Christians out there: What if someone got ahold of a sample of the Shroud of Turin and tried to get a sample of Jesus' DNA? I want to see someone plan to clone Jesus, if only so Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell would immediately die of heart attacks.
