This is a vintage (not antique--probably only a few years\' old) Chimpanzee mask! It\'s wood and was stained with colors to have a very primitive look!I think it\'s from Indonesia and was probably a tourist\'s buy--or was made for import. It is small---just 6\" wide X 6 1/4\" top to bottom X 3 3/4\" deep.It has holes at the top and sides to put a string for hanging and an inexplicable one on the forehead!CONDITION: Vintage (a few years\'), used condition; it was made to look \"primitive\".
