It is unmarked.

It weighs about 2 pounds 5 ounces on my postal scale.

The blade is sharpened on quite a skew as can be seen.

Width of the blade, measured straight across at the narrower end of the skew, is about 2-1/8\". Distance from the center of the hammer or poll face to the nearer corner of the blade is roughly 6-5/8\". Length of the visible portion of the wood handle is about 5-3/4\".

Condition is good. The face is free from any chips, but the lower left corner is rounded off. The body has some casting roughness and some light pitting on the outer surface. The sides and underside of the body look like they were painted at one time, and the outer surface (the outside from the hammer face to the sharp edge) has a polished look to it, but my guess is that someone put some sort of a clear coating on the outer surface. The handle has a few scuffs and scratches, is a bit rough where it tapers down at the top, and it seems quite tight on the body.

ETHICS IN DESCRIPTIONS: I also buy for my collecting on , and I have been burned too many times by misleading (duh did I forget to mention .......) descriptions, and sales with pictures only of the left side becausethe right side was trashed. RETURN POLICY: I believe that if you give honest descriptions, and include enough pictures, you shouldn\'t need a return policy. However, that doesn\'t mean that I won\'t make an occasional mistake. Please offer with the assurance that if I have made an error in my listing, I WILL take care of you. And if you have made an error, and bought the wrong size, for example, I will still take care of you (but I’ll let you pay the return shipping!).

SHIPPING INSIDE THE US: I would rather that you spend your money on my stuff, and not on shipping. So I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based on what is the least expensive, and what is needed to protect the item. I package well, and have a great track record of getting everything to each buyer, and getting it there in one piece. I use the US Post Office for everything, and I often find it is cheaper to use their Priority Mail flat rate boxes for heavier items.The US Post Office has five sizes of their Flat Rate boxes, plus padded Flat Rate envelopes. For each size the postage stays the same regardless of weight, with a 70 pound limit within the US and a 20 pound limitfor international shipments. If the item is over $100, I have to buy extra insurance, and if the item is over $250, encourages all sellers to require a signature upon delivery, which costs extra. The shipping charges are a combination of postage, extra insurance if applicable, and signature confirmation if applicable.

WASHINGTON STATE buyers: I hate to do this, but if I ship to a Washington address, no matter where you actually live, I either have to charge Washington State sales tax,or receive a valid resale form.

sales: I won’t end an sale listing early to sell it to you directly. As a buyer, I really dislike going back at the end of an sale to offer, only to discover that the seller had ended the sale early. So I won’t do that for you, or to you.

PURCHASING MULTIPLE ITEMS: Wherever it makes sense, I will combine your purchases to save on shipping. But you have to WAIT for me to put together your invoice, as the computer cannot do that automatically.

USPS POSTAGE RATE INCREASE AS OF January. Every year the US Postal Service raises rates in mid to late January, and this year is no exception.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I no longer ship Internationally, other than occasionally to Canada. I have told the computer NO International shipping, but if you are in Canada, email me for a postage quote first, and if that works, I can change the listing to allow shipments to Canada only.

MY POLICY ON CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
