Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Order was shipped quickly, was a good price and the sleep system itself is very nice. Compared to my original military sleep system, I see no big differences other than this bag is a bit bigger which is a huge plus and the zipper is beefier on this sleep system. Brand new sleeping bag, mil spec. This sleeping bag is built to military specs, probably a military contract. I can find no major difference from 1990 version. Military is also moving away from Goretex branded material. I’ve seen this in boots and gloves. I tested the Bivy shell under water, it is waterproof…for all intensive purposes no difference than Goretex. This is not reproduction, it is new, exact mil spec. Fast shipping and zero issues.
