This is the finest sword I have and I have several shinsakuto and gendaito produced by recognized smiths. The fit and finish are second to none. In tameshigiri it puts the other blades to shame, even the one specifically designed with cutting geometry and first class materials. Motohara comes at a price but it is worth it. I recommend you also look at Motohara reviews on Youtube.
