After completing one of these dual model kits, you'll have your very own Transformer to display whether at home, work, or school. These Transformers toys are poseable, so you can position Optimus Prime in a way that shows he's strong and smart. He can stand tall, intimidating anyone who dares challenge him. You could also make him crouch, ready to take action and protect the rest of the robots. If you have other toys from the Transformers series, like Bumblebee, you can have fun setting up a battle between the models. Optimus Prime might be likely to win any duel. The Optimus Prime model kit from Takara comes with everything you need to build a realistic-looking Transformer. The DMK03 kit is an officially licensed Transformers product, and it shows in the quality of the craftsmanship. Precise fabrication methods were used to create the individual plastic parts of the model kit. He comes with chest plates, a protective helmet, and sturdy boots. He appears to be made out metal, as he is on the show, but he's actually quite lightweight and ready for play action. If you're careful, he can travel with you. This Optimus Prime figure comes armed with his sword and shield. The swords and shields have decorative embellishments that match those on the figures themselves. You can position this figure's hand to securely grab hold of his weapon or shield. As you open up the toy box, you'll find step-by-step instructions that detail how to put the robot together. Though they're in Japanese, the instructions also have clear pictures and numbers that anyone can read. You simply need to move in order and follow the diagrams to finish building Optimus Prime. Some of the parts get snapped together and aren't intended to move. The areas around his joints are built in a way that allow movement and articulation. Ball and socket joints are found at his shoulders and hips. His knees and elbows can move naturally as well. All of the individual pieces in the kit come pre-painted. Most of them are painted with a sleek silver color that resembles metal. Some of them are painted blue, red, or some combination of those colors. For example, the shoulder and lower leg shields have blue backgrounds with red accents that look like fire. The kit even includes decals that you can apply for added movie realism. These help the Optimus Prime toy seem as if he came straight out of the "Transformers: Age of Extinction" movie. The decals that come with the model kit need to be lightly wet to properly affix onto these figures for a firm attachment. The Transformers movie model boasts an amazing level of detail and is sturdy enough to arrange in a number of unique poses. No matter what you decide, his cool silver, blue, and red design is sure to catch attention on your collectible display shelf. This Optimus Prime toy can keep any fan entertained during building or after the dual model kit is complete.

great kit to build
If you are a big fan of Optimus Prime's Knight form and willing to put some effort to put on the decals, then this is the kit for you. Unfortunately, the sword and shield are not colored in any way, and the decal red is not the same as the red on the feet of Optimus.
