The product was brand new. It is sturdy and will probably last me the rest of my life. I have had some Tupperware products in my lifetime, but this is one of the best I have seen, it is better quality plastic than I have seen used in the past, It is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for this type of product.
