This little guy is great for hobbyist projects. It's easily got enough power to off load dhcp and dns from your gateway to improve your network performance. You can even set it up to perform network level ad blocking through black lists (if you're interested, look up pi-hole project os image, free of charge). Lots of gpio to play with for just about anything you can imagine. You want a toilet that's IoT flushable from across the country? This little dude can do it with properly configured gpio pins, a couple arduino relay boards and some servos.
