I needed a inexpensive meter to keep in my portable tool box. I had a cheap Craftsman brand one that someone borrowed at an auto-x event and never returned. I didn't really like that one very much anyway. This one works well. I've only had it about a month. As soon as I took it out of the box, I plugged it into the wall outlet. It displays correct voltage. I also checked for resistance between two separate outlet screws. It seems accurate enough. Do far, I've only used it once to check a flat car battery. I like that the switch is recessed and will not easily be turned on by accident. The compact size is a nice feature. The leads are an adequate length. The build quality is not as good as my Fluke, but it's a good value for the price.
