This is bargain for pipe smokers. The metal parts are stainless steel cased in redwood. A very solidly made tool well worth the very few $ I paid. You may have to wait a few weeks from China, but worth it. If you can't wait, buy it for 8 to 10 times more from a tobacconist in the U.S.
