It took a few minutes to program, but once done it's a cinch to use. The only improvement I would suggest is that the Band Selection is adjustable both in the up and down choices. To go from AM to FM is easy, but to get back to AM requires you to go through all the S/W bands. Also, in the US, S/W is not useful. It could probably be eliminated. Sound is good, and the illuminated face works when you change a setting. This saves battery life. The best feature is that the volume control is digital. This is not usually found on an inexpensive radio.

Nice size, easy to figure out although the instructions are lacking. am and fm work ok. The short wave has 6 bands and are easy to thumb through. Some reception in sw is possible.... you can't expect too much without a bigger antenna. Clock is easy to set. Presets in stations are handy to assign. the price is very good, I was happy until it locked up after about 10 minutes.. controls frozen. It would malfunction in shorter intervals as time went on..the only way to fix things was to take out the batteries then you have to start over...Hopefully others won't have the same problem

Very easy to use. Digital tuning is great and holds the station. Using it in my golf cart, and even bouncing down the fairways, it gets great reception. Sound quality is very good, but not great, but for a small, inexpensive radio, it gets the job done.
