The Enforcer is standing with his Dominator weapon in his left hand and a cigarette in his right hand. The wind has disarrayed his long black hair and his stylish black jacket and tie. An arrogant sneer plays upon his lips. Realistically molded and dynamically posed, this figure is a great addition to any collection of "Psycho-Pass" items. The figure measures 9 inches by 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches and weighs 2.2 pounds. It’s made of PVC, which is a type of synthetic plastic polymer. You are able to pose this statue in one of two different ways. Position the figure either smoking the cigarette or aiming the Dominator at an enemy. If you need them, replacement parts are available for both the Dominator and the arm. The figurine doesn’t need a stand because it’s capable of standing up on any flat surface completely under its own power. This item and similar "Psycho-Pass" action figures were created by Megahouse, which is the toy and hobby branch of the Bandai Namco Group. The figurine's original packaging features a black and tan pattern that complements its own stark design. "Psycho-Pass" takes place in a dystopian future where human beings are subject to constant psychometric scanning. The scans are intended to identify the likelihood of criminal proclivities and behaviors. Shinya Kogami is an Enforcer under Inspector Akane Tsunemori who runs Unit One of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division. However, Shinya’s own criminal coefficient is abnormally high. When Akane Tsunemori tries to prevent him from killing criminal mastermind Shogo Makishima, the Enforcer goes rogue. Ultimately, Makishima is killed, and the Enforcer must go underground to avoid capture and prosecution himself. The show first aired in Japan between October 2012 and March 2013. A second season launched in October 2014, and an animated film based on the shows was released in January 2015. "Psycho-Pass" has inspired mangas, novelizations, and a video game. Producers acknowledge their debt to science fiction film classics like "Blade Runner" and "Minority Report." The show also draws extensively from the noir aesthetic of the movie "L.A. Confidential." The series is popular in North America as well as in Japan. As you can see from the Enforcer figurine, the design scheme used in this show’s production relied extensively upon black and white.
