I've used these in battery chargers, for solar monitoring, and as an easy portable Volt/Amp meter. All have been within 1/2 Volt and are easy to adjust, and hold their calibration once set.

there is no wiring diagram and you must be very careful. There are three wires on one plug (smaller diameter) and these are easy to hook up. Black to ground, red to the 5-35 volt SOURCE to power the the display and the yellow to the positive voltage point you are reading (0 - 100 volts). The other two are the tricky ones to hook up. These are the larger diameter red and black for the ampere monitoring through the built in shunt wire. This point will be the power supply positive output. The black goes to the ground of the power SOURCE (the same point as the other black wire for the voltage meter) and the red goes to the ground connection of your power supply. So you connect the red wire to the ground of your power supply you are building, This point will be the power supply negative output. As for the accuracy of the current, I bought two of these and neither was very close. I was able to improve them with the alignment pots and one one I ground the shunt diameter slightly to get it in the ball park. The voltage seemed very close on both displays.Read full review

Good quality, good price, small size is convenient to attached ( strapped or taped ) to battery charger, using on 10 amp charger and lets you see how is charging , the 3 wire plug ( red & black ) is power for the meter the yellow wire is for measuring the actual voltage, the 2 heavy wire plug red & black are Both - negative only for amp current, that is how I wired for the battery charger, it worked very well, very happy.

Works fine, but I had to request a connection diagram which was not included. The Connection are the Fine red wire and thin black wire is the positive and negative power supply (4 to 30v), the yellow wire is the positive for Voltage measurement, thick red wire and thick black wire are the current measurement, in which the red line is the positive current in flow, thick black wire is the current out flow. Great meter with a reasonable price. Would be much better if it came with a wiring diagram...I burned out my first one trying to guess the connections. No help writing the supplier. The two heavy wires are the shunt, goes in series with the load. Small blk & red are power input and the yel is sense for the device voltage.
