A Useful, Respectable Folder
The RAT II was picked for its smaller configuration, despite my large hands. Ontario is a brand I’ve used. The materials are very good: the blade is already nicely sharp, and the scales have a good grip. The assisted open is easy and smooth. Light oil was already present at the pivot. Liner lock works very well. Deployed blade has no looseness. The clip can be moved to either side at all ends if necessary. This will be a utility knife for light tasks on the job. It cuts saplings pulled down where the grain is strained. In all, very satisfied with the RAT II. AK had the best price for this model, and purchasing and delivery is always easy and swift with them.
