I use it for air filter fan speed regulation, and it works great. I guess it should not be used at the nominal value 4000W, but of significantly smaller power, to use it for a long time without overheating. Anyway, I am very satisfied.

The first one of these I purchased was wired backwards from what you would expect, and burned out! Also, the connections are a little difficult to access, as the "permanent" plastic cover that protects the connections, all but prevents you from making access. (A curved screwdriver would help!)

This controller has a single 10A fuse in it. I learned this after I blew it the first time I tried to control a 2500W load. At 220V, 10A gives 2200W. How did they come up with 4000W?
