This is an original Russian manufactured SVT-40 bayonet for the Tokarev SVT-40 semi automatic rifle. This bayonet has not been cleaned or messed with in any way. The blade does not appear to have been refinished or messed with. The wood grips are in good original condition with original serial number \"X7187\" stamped in it (I think. The first two letters are hard to read). The metal on the grip and muzzle ring exhibits light pitting. The bayonet lug locking mechanism is missing.The sheath is in good original condition with light pitting throughout. it is complete with the original leather belt hangar that appears to be in good original condition. The four rivets holding it on are tight and in good shape. There is one small hole in the back of the leather. The metal on the sheath is good with small amounts of pitting throughout.I will ship where legal. I am happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions you might have about this bayonet.
