This listing is for a genuine authentic extinct Woolly Rhinoceros (Coelodonta anitiquata) skull from Yakutsia, Siberia. The skull was wedged out of the permafrost and is in spectacular condition! It comes with the lower jaw that was found in the same location however due to the clay deposit in the same area, it fossilized a darker brown. It is approximately 28,000 years old as evidenced by the dated permafrost. The horns are REPLICA HORNS made of resin and are in complete compliance with all E-bay rules and policies. The horns are NOT attached but have been secured by tape. They will require a more permanent means of attachment if desired. The entire fossil is displayed by a custom walnut/oak base with metal rods that are solid and contrast nicely with the light/dark hue of the skull. A true statement piece! Woolly Rhinos are getting rarer and rarer to find and few are as nice as this specimen. Please check all state laws before purchasing to ensure legal compliance. No international Shipping.
