All parts are original.

This is a superb user, ready to take shavings in the workshop.

The sole is really solid, beefy, clean and dead flat. The original japanning is still 99% present.

The blade has been sharpened with oil stones and honed with a leather strop. It is able to take fine, see-through shavings, less than 0.001 in thickness.

The rosewood tote and front knob are in pristine condition. They are really solid and very comfortable in the hand. Finished with 5 thin coats of de-waxed garnet shellac.

The frog assembly is really solid and clean. All moving parts (lateral adjuster, depth adjuster, etc) have been lubricated with 3-in-1 light machine oil for a buttery smooth operation.
