This item is a original box and bottle of vintage unopened \"new old stock\" Ostrex Tonic New and Improved Formula from Ostrex Company, New York, NY.This is unopened with contents in the bottle, which has never been opened. There is an informational brochure in the box. The box shows shelf wear relating to long term moving around and storage, mainly wear to box edges. The top cover, flap enclosure part was torn off at some point and top box cover taped on the box. The torn off flap portion is in the box. The bottle is in excellent condition. The amber, screw top bottle measures about 3 1/8 X 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 inches. Bottle size is 48 tabletsThis product is a vitamin & mineral supplement product. We believe it dates from the 1940s-1950s but are not sure. The ingredients include: Ferrous Sulfate, Vitamin B1, Tricalcium Phosphate, and Copper Sulfate. It was sold for Iron-deficiency anemia and Vitamin B1 deficiency.This item is being sold for collectible and display purposes only.
