These are New vintage collection of twelve vintage buttons, likely made of celluloid or plastic, with a TORTOISESHELL pattern. These buttons are displayed on the original card with the inscription "Dz (dozen) TURTLE SHELL M". The buttons are round, each featuring a unique swirling pattern of dark and light brown shades, the appearance of natural tortoiseshell. They have four holes for attachment and are arranged in a 3 x 4 grid on the card. These were popular in the early to mid-20th century and offer sought after by collectors and those interested in vintage fashion.This is a vintage piece and comes from my own personal collection that I inherited from my mom. She traveled all over the world and collected beautiful objects especially hand made.
