Very pretty little round box miniature made of brass, copper, shell/ mother of pearl and glass (mirror on other side of lid).
Cute little trinket box can hold jewelry, pearls, makeup or any little treasure you hold as special. Would look great on your vanity table.
The underside of the lid has a looking glass/ mirror, but it is showing signs of age/ wear and tear - see photos.
The shell on the lid has fine detail handpainted work, showing a battle scene with five men on horses. You can see the ground and the sky in the background. There is either a chip or a depression to the natural shell visible at the edge - see photos.
The bottom portion of the round box has etching decoration around the sides. See photos.
