Born in Italy in 1935 and passed away in 2006. He began drawing everything he could see from the moment he could pick up a pencil. He is known for extraordinary detail and realism.
In 1975, Mr Armani accepted an ofer from Florence Sculpture d 'Arte working exclusively for their studio with complet artistic freedom. For the following 31 years he created beautiful masterpieces ranging from traditional Capodimonte styling to more modern, contemporary sculptures.
The finishes done by the Florence Studios artists can make the same "model" lookdramatically different and because they are hand painted, no two are exactly alike.Thisbeautiful vintage figurine depicts a seated beautiful lady wearing a peasant dress, a wide brimmed hat, and holding a basket of red apples.This figurine is mounted on a wooded base with a dark stain and measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 9 1/2 inches high.
The figurine and base are in excellent condition with some very minor vintage wear.
