Vintage 1860s Civil War Era Carte de Visite CDV Photo of a seated older woman wearing a dark dress and dark bonnet. Her right arm is resting on a covered side table. It looks as if her left side of her face (eye & mouth) has suffered facial paralysis possibly from a stroke.

Back of the CDV has stamped: J. H. CRAWFORD, PHOTOGRAPHER, DIXON, ILLINOIS

Affixed to the back is a greenish blue 2 cent Washington tax revenue stamp with a hand cancel cross - The actual stamp is more greenish blue than it appears in the photo above.

Bumping to corners and edges. Some smudging and wear. Please see all photos above for more details.
