This is a tool, or weapon, from New Guinea or nearby islands. It has a wooden handle carved with a bird form with a sharp bone dagger lashed on to one end. All native materials. Possibly a "pig killer". Good condition with just a tiny chip on the end of the bird beak. See pics. Length of the bird dagger is 18", handle is 14". Email questions.
