VINTAGE WWII MEDICAL ETHANOL FIELD STERILIZER D.R.G.M. GERMANY NO 44638
This vintage WWII medical ethanol sterilizer is an extremely rare and unique find. It is complete in the case with two foldable stands and burner. Case is made of nickel plated brass. The hinges are intact and the lid opens smoothly. It is inscribed with D.R.G.M. No. 44638. Box measures approximately 3 3/4\" x 2 1/8\" x 1 1/2\".
It was used for sterilization of scalpels and other medical instruments used in field hospitals. In the field medics would open the lid, put the stands upright, and then rest the instruments on the stands with the blade over the flames from the burner.
VERY GOOD USED CONDITION WITH SOME MINOR WEAR(As found - I have not tried to clean it. It does have some tarnish, surface scratches, and a few minor dents)
