Rare and Hard-to-Find, the Holt Howard ‘Pop-Up’ Santa Cookie Jar
Three Piece Set includes white Cookie Jar Base with ‘Cookies’ Decal, red/green knobbed Lid and Ceramic Santa Pop-Up with Spring, ‘JUST TAKE 1’ (Santa does not ‘pop-up’ completely, spring needs adjustment)
Produced in Japan by Holt Howard, circa 1950’s
No chips, cracks, or repairs
Cookie Jar has the gold/red trademark sticker on base, ‘H’ and ‘H’, JAPAN
Cookie Jar is small, just 4.75” tall x 4” wide, lid is 4.75” wide x 0.75” tall
Santa pop-up is 3” tall x 1.75” wide
Wear consistent with age: extensive crazing; Santa does not pop-up all the way when lid opened - needs adjustment of spring
