1940'S SPORTSMAN BULLDOG #743D DIAMOND SHANK & STEM by John Hudson Moore NYC. Smooth & carved finish. Briar is Excellent. Dark brown stain showing beautiful grain. Chamber is extra clean and smooth. NO charring, cracks, repairs, burnout or rim darkening. Shiny black Ebonite stem shows a couple of small marks on and near the button, all minor as shown. NICE vintage pipe that will last another 75 years with care.
