This is a reproduction USGI reinforced M1942 \"506th\" version paratrooper jacket from At The Front in size XL. The \"506th\" version is a special order version from ATF which adds four extra rigger pockets: 2 on the upper sleeve area and 2 on the back tail of the jacket. These were extra pockets to store extra gear for the jump as used by the 506th P.I.R.
I am the original owner of this jacket. I have worn it for multiple reenacting events to include battle events. As such, there is some minor wear and marks to the jacket. They are not significant and this is a very functional jacket with lots of remaining life. Please see the photos.This special order jacket retails from ATF for $160. This is being offered at significant savings. Please see the ATF website for the manufacture specs of their current offerings. This is an earlier version of the jacket and I believe much higher quality than their current offerings.
